The Outlook House was designed for a sloping site with beautiful views and a lot of potential. The main living spaces open to a large covered deck through walls of glass, making the view of the lake part of everyday life rather than something you only notice once in a while. Inside, the vaulted great room is warmed by exposed wood beams and becomes the center of the home. It was designed to be a place for family dinners, slow mornings, and quiet evenings that naturally spill outside. Even though the project was not ultimately built, it remains a meaningful design study in how a home can feel open, practical, and deeply connected to its setting.
